So, another budget cycle, another hyperbolic response of “lawmakers strike deal to avoid government shutdown.” Honestly, it’s all getting very old. Yes, Congress, but also the media analysis of it. Technically it’s true that passing a budget means the government won’t shutter it’s doors. However, it’s also true that paying your phone bill keeps your phone service from being shut off. When did the normal business of Congress become such high stakes drama?
I know, it’s all the fault of the leftwing/rightwing populists. Sheesh.
