The Political Scandal Du Jour

Standard

A spokesman for the opposition party, in front of the
gathered media, addressed today’s shocking
developments–

“All we can say about our opponents’ shenanigans”
(And we can say nothing until all the facts are in)
“is that they are a profound disgrace. Surely, this is
the WORST scandal in our nation’s history!

“And we will say so again and again” (Though we
cannot say for certain until all the facts are in)
“until our words sink in; however, if they do not,
just you wait

until the NEXT scandal!”
